Description
By employing a global database of political conflict (interstate and civil war, genocide/politicide)
together with reported HIV/AIDS cases and data on forced refugees, this research project will
attempt to statistically assess general relationships. This research design will result in a general
understanding of overall trends in HIV/AIDS and conflict, as well as a more detailed
understanding of causal mechanisms.
